1. Check the steel wire rope
It is very dangerous to use wear and damaged steel wire ropes. It is necessary to check the wear of the wire rope frequently and whether it is damaged. Once the wire rope is broken, the harm caused by it is devastating to the entire drill or pile hole. Therefore, we specially reminded and requiring you to don't forget the inspection and maintenance of the wire rope when using the drilling rig. With the increase of the working hours of the machine, the wire rope will wear and decline, so it is necessary to check the status and correct any errors before each shift.
1.1 Observe the lubrication of the wire rope.
The wire rope is usually lubricated during processing, including surface and internal lubrication, which can protect the rope from being corroded and dry friction of the inner steel wire, and lubricating the steel wire rope on the inside and outside surface of the inside and outside during exercise. The first lubrication can be maintained for a long time. When observing the steel wire rope is not lubricating or less lubricating oil, it is necessary to apply oil in time. When lubricating, pay attention to different degrees of wear. Different lubricating fats:
A. Slide the rope on the pulley or roll on the roller. Generally, the lubricant of the SAE30W model is generally used to penetrate the cracks of the rope to effectively lubricate the steel wire rope.
B. When the rope is severely worn, the oil is lubricated with better viscosity properties to reduce mechanical wear, such as high viscosity oil or light fat containing graphite and m -molybdenum bonding additives.
C. When the rope is exposed to loose abrasives (soil, sand, etc.), the lubricating oil/fat outside the rope will stick these objects, which will cause severe wear of the wire rope and pulley. In this case, it is necessary to clean up and lubricate the surface of the wire rope in time.
1.2 How to lubricate the wire rope:
A. Continuous bath on the rope, that is, let the rope slide through the container filled with lubricating oil, and remove the excess oil on the rope with a cloth.
B. Brush oil/fat on the rope. Brush oil with cloth or brush.
C. Use a spray gun to lubricate the rope oil.
1.3 Observe the fatigue of the wire rope.
The wire rope will slowly cause fatigue in the long period of use. Its aging process can be expressed as:
Damage → Bend → corrosion and drag → fatigue → plastic deformation → steel wire fracture → steel wire rope breaks; the main phenomenon of checking fatigue is to observe the internal steel wire of the wire rope and the curved deformation of the wire rope. For example, the following common situations should be taken:
A. When there are several steel wires on the outside of the steel wire rope, the steel wire rope must be changed in time, otherwise danger may occur.
B. When the stock rope is found to be deformed, that is, a few steel wires in the wire rope are obviously protruding from the inner layer to the outer layer. Flying imagination when it occurs. If a few places appear, change the rope immediately.
C. When the wire rope is found to be very tight in the spiral and the most outermost steel wire appears, if the wire rope becomes thinner, the rope needs to be changed immediately.
